My name is Catherine Martin and I live in Plettenberg Bay South Africa. I like to think of myself as a deep thinker, contemplator, analyzer, and most important, empathizer. Working with children has always been my life aspiration, it is something I was born to do.
I hold a BA (Hons) in psychology together with a postgraduate certificate and diploma in Play Therapy. I was privileged to live and work in England and the USA for 10 years before coming back to SA where I began my training in Integrative holistic child-centered play therapy. This form of therapy is the most recognized form of Play therapy in the UK and the USA today.
I am a mother of two beautiful girls and practice full time. To ensure effective safety of all children that I work with, I adhere to the below standards:
