Description
The feelings monkey is locally handmade in Plettenberg Bay and comes in three different colours. It is designed as a Therapeutic tool which assists children in practicing the art of communication more effectively, thereby, gaining added experience in expressing their feelings and encouraging dialogue of all emotions. Practicing the art of ‘using their words’ an imperative strategy in overcoming most obstacles as they grow into adulthood.
The feelings monkey has a heart pocket on the outside that can be unzipped, children express their emotions or store treasure in it and zip it back up for safe keeping- “the child learns through experience that a shared problem allows for a calmer nervous system”.
The feelings monkey also comes with Velcro hands for heart-to-heart connection, a birth certificate so that your child can name their special feelings monkey and a bonus colouring page.
